Grievance redressal
Raise a grievance.
A grievance is a formal complaint about how you were treated, a service you received or a decision you want reviewed. Every grievance goes to our Grievance Cell and is tracked until it is closed.
How it works.
- Raise it. Sign in and raise a request with the type Grievance. Choose the department it relates to; a grievance is always copied to the Grievance Cell as well.
- Acknowledgement. You get an email with your ticket ID straight away.
- Our targets. Acknowledged immediately, first response within 3 working days, resolved within 30 days.
- Updates. We email you whenever the status changes or the team replies. You can reply on the ticket, or check its status with the ticket ID and your email address.
- Resolution. When we resolve it, you confirm the outcome. If it is not fixed, reply or reopen, and tell us what is still wrong.
If you are not satisfied.
- Missed targets are escalated. If a grievance passes its target without a response or a resolution, it is escalated automatically to the Grievance Cell and our administrators.
- Reopen. You can reopen a resolved request, or a closed one within 30 days of closing.
- Appeal. If you are unhappy with how any other request was handled, open it and choose Appeal to the Grievance Cell. The appeal becomes a new Grievance, linked to the original ticket.
- Grievance officer. If you are still not satisfied, write to the grievance officer below and quote your ticket ID.
